What’s On The List?

Have you ever had to have a home inspected before? If the answer is no, or it has been many years since the house was last inspected, you may have a few questions about it. One of the main questions we are asked is what will be included in the home inspection? To list every single item that we inspect would be rather too extensive for this blog, but here is a brief overview to help give you an idea.

Firstly, we will check the home’s exterior. We will look at the roof to make sure it is in good condition and any decking that is attached to the house. Then, we will see if the property has the right amount of grading.

The home’s HVAC system is an area we like to give special attention to, and we also check that the plumbing system is working properly.

A big reason to have your home inspected is to ensure it is safe to live in, this is something we take very seriously, so we take time to thoroughly inspect electrical wiring, as well as the electrical panel. We will also test to see how secure the home is by performing an inspection of doors, locks, and windows.

As you can see from this quick overview, we take our home inspections very seriously and make sure they are as thorough as possible.
